Technocultural Landscape

In At the End of the Rainbow, rows of dark television screens stretch across the paper while a single screen displays a color test pattern. A walking figure and a woman pulling a television on a cart inhabit this technological landscape. The works retain the marks, washes, and drips of watercolor, bringing the material presence of painting into dialogue with devices once used to transmit electronic images.
